Exceeding Our Expectations

Today has been a day of celebration.  We had our hearing at 11AM this morning.  The court has allowed my parents to have temporary custody of Keeton. They will be allowed to stay in our home with him. Gerald and I will have to move out during this time, but the court has allowed us to visit under my parents supervision.  We will be able to see Keeton Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 2 hours and 4 hours on Saturday.  This is far better than the alternative which was foster care for Keeton and only 2 hour visits per week for Gerald and me.  This decision exceeded our expectations. 

The hospital nurse informed us that Keeton will be released tomorrow.  He will be going home with a feeding tube just in case he doesn't eat enough from the bottle. Tuesday they will determine whether we can remove the tube for good. 

The detective contacted us today, and he is going to try to schedule our polygraph test on Wednesday this week. When we clear the tests the CPS will drop our case and we will be able to move back home with our baby.

We are so thankful for all the prayer and support we received during this time. We have been reminded, once again, the power of prayer.
